Ingrid Orman

Ingrid Orman is a Finnish-Estonian curator and art historian based in Helsinki. As Chief Curator of Exhibitions at EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art, she leads the development of an ambitious international exhibitions programme and envisions museum practices grounded in environmental responsibility. Her curatorial approach foregrounds the amplification of diverse voices to challenge and reshape established art historical narratives. Throughout her career, she has primarily collaborated with contemporary artists, with a strong focus on commissioning new works and exploring experimental exhibition formats. Creative collaboration and meaningful dialogue are central to her practice.
